SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed about the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The support point created for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for that office to click here attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and raise usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
